American Educational Air Mass Generator Kit

The American Educational 3216 air mass generator kit is used to study how air mass is formed and the relationship of temperature to air masses. The kit has two integral thermometers set in a tube at different heights for measuring temperature variation with altitude. The 3216 includes a transparent and markable tube with integral thermometers on a track, two-piece convection chamber, tubing, funnel, and smoke generator for demonstration. The tube measures 2-1/2 x 18 inches (L x H). (L is the horizontal distance from left to right; H is the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.) The kit has a teacher’s guide for instructional use, and is suitable for grades 6 to 12 and ages 11 to 18.
